"Without James and Kirstene I would not have my amazing girl, she was booked in to be PTS as she was extremely reactive to everything and was a huge bite risk. When I met James he asked me to cancel the appointment and let him help and help he did. James worked with her 5 days per week for 6 weeks and turned her life around, muzzle removed and no longer needed a prong, she is now the happiest girl ever living her best life. There were days when you think you can't do it but Kirstene was always there for support/humour and we got through it, couldn't recommend Furever Pawsitive enough"

"I reached out to James for advice on my very reactive Border Collie Rocky when he was only 8 months old. Rocky was reactive to dogs and people and walking him was a nightmare. He would be lunging, growling and snarling and we were unable to enjoy walking him. James has worked closely with us for nearly 2 years and the change in Rocky is phenomenal. James has given us the skilld and confidence to support Rocky when he sees other dogs and people. Walks are enjoyable for us all and Rocky can now walk past or see other dogs and not react. Rocky will always need support but James is always at the end of the phone for advice.

"Can't recommend James and Kirstene enough! We made so many mistakes with Kobe being our first dog (including overpriced FF training methods) and didnt set any boundaries. Before we took Kobe to James and Kirstene, he was severely reactive and we were unable to walk him in public. After taking on board their advice and training, Kobe is now calm around other dogs, kids and adults not in his immediate circle. We can now enjoy taking Kobe walks in public, to dog friendly cafes and just enjoy life more. Not only has the training changed everything, but Kobe now has tonnes of friends at their structured daycare which has helped even more with his training! We couldn't have done it without them both!"

"Could not recommend James and Kirstene enough they have changed our lives! We got Mac at 6 months old - a failed police dog with a VERY high prey drive. Mac is a lovely dog but very anxious in the real world and not his kennel and loved nothing more than chasing pigeons, he loved being out so much he pulled the leash so much so hes's pulled us over! We were endlessly googling different training tactics, watching programmes and trying to help our boy and nothing seemed to help, Mac didn't recall for treats or chicken - running free and chasing pigeons was much more rewarding! It was so disheartening and upsetting, I would dread taking him out and get stressed at the thought of letting him off leash, spending days finding good walks or paying for enclosed fields to get him enough exercise. Then along came James and Kirstene - we enrolled Mac on a 4 week programme and 1 week in there was already a massive change and by the end he was a different dog, James taught him boundaries and consequences and taught us too! Fast forward 9 months we are still finding new places to go and explore and seeing our boy live his best life just melts my heart and I couldn't be more grateful. They know their stuff and understand different behaviours, it's not a one size fits all and such reasonable prices compared to other trainers. If you think you need help take the plunge, it will change your life"

"Highly recommend James and Kirstene's dog training services! We had been through multiple dog trainers with our reactive rescue dog from Romania, and nobody could help her until we found Furever Pawsitive. Lola went from being aggressive/fearful towards people, cars, dogs and new environments to now being a confident, off leash reliable dog who can live her life to the fullest. Lola was a unique case, and no other training methods worked for her as she required a tailored plan that only Furever Pawsitive could deliver us with. The balanced and blended approach worked wonders for Lola and the academy/residential training gave her the regular exposure to dogs in a controlled environment. Lola has now become a dog that makes others look untrained and has improved leaps and bounds with the training provided by Furever Pawsitive.

"Highly recommend James & Kirstene for dog training and daycare. I've got so many positive things to say about them & what they have done with our dog Vinny. We went to them initially for some lead training, Vinny was 7 months old, he was lunging on the lead & had no idea how to behave on a lead. He was attending another daycare which was basically taking him to a field & letting him do what he wanted, which tbh was him picking up bad habits from older dogs & other dogs bad habits and nothing was being corrected. Eventually after a couple of months his behaviour was getting worse. He had no manners & being very reactive! We then went back to James for a 4 week training programme. After week 1 we could see the difference & started to see the best in Vinny again. James & Kirstene after the 4weeks took Vinny on 3 days a week for daycare & Vinny has just got better & better. We are still using the tools we have been given to keep the training going. He loves daycare now, he enjoys being around the other dogs they have in daycare. They are all so well behaved dogs because they know how to behave. The most important part for us as owners is we trust who looks after our dog now for those 3 days & we trust our dog now & ourselves. It's been life changing for Vinny & for us......also I'm sure they would steal Vinny if they could lol"

"Couldn't recommend James and Kirstene enough. This is going to be a long one, but I couldn't put what they've both done for our reactive chocolate Labrador in a few words. We got Milo in August 2022, a happy pup with not a care in the world! Fast forward a few months, Milo's behaviour changed after he was in an altercation with another dog. We could no longer take Milo walks, and honestly thought he would live in run free fields his whole life. Milo attended daycare at the time, where everyday his behaviours spiralled and he no longer interacted well with with other dogs. Also, he would bark and lunge at anyone or anything passing by. Our poor boy was full of fear, which was mistaken for aggression. We tried many trainers, but nothing would work. Then, thankfully, James and Kirstene agreed to invest time, patience and trust into him, and this is when Milo's life changed for the better! We were skeptical about using tools for training, but James educated us properly on them, to the point Milo doesn't always rely on these tools, and is showing positive behaviour outside, off lead! Something we thought would never happen! However, these tools are there to teach him when/if needed and help him continue to build trust again! Milo is back to loving life with freedom, like he should have been the past year! We are continuing to work with James and Kirstene, as their knowledge and professionalism when working with dogs and their behaviours cannot be matched and we want to continue to learn from them! We owe them so much for giving our boy a quality of life again! Not to mention, Milo loves them too. Thank you so much to you both! You@re the best!"

"My year old Vizsla has been with James and Kirstene for daycare a few months now and i cannot recommend them enough, when Baxter started he was hyper, ran away to play with other dogs when we were out, recall was awful, pulled like a horse on the lead and I didn't enjoy taking him out. James has worked with Baxter over the last few months and the difference has been unbelievable, I can now take him out without him pulling and he doesn't really bother with dogs anymore it's been life changing for me! They are extremely knowledgeable and care so much about all the dogs in their care and Baxter also loves staying over with them. Thank you for all the work you put in and Baxter loves you both"

All of his observations were spot on he identified, what I thought to be a stubborn dog for confusion, once I changed my behaviour instantly my dog is improving, I know it won't happen over night but without his input it would take me alot longer, James truly I'm so grateful.
