Meet The Team

Millie
Millie is a 7 year old Border Collie and was surrendered to us when she was only 4 months old.
When she came to us she was afraid of all vehicles, bikes, scooters etc. If anyone approached her (including ourselves) she would lie on her back and submissive pee everywhere.
Millie is now thriving with confidence, loves people and loves to work. She is our most trusted dog and has helped to rehabilitate many dogs.
Last year Millie suffered from a spinal stroke (Fibrocartilaginous embolism or an FCE), it was completely out of the blue and very scary for us all. She has made a full recovery thanks to Hydrotherapy and Massage however we decided to semi retire her from working as much.
Hunter
Hunter is a 4 year old Springer Spaniel and was surrendered to us when he was 1.
Hunter was extremely dog aggressive he would attack dogs for fun. He resource guarded and has bitten previously.
Previous owners couldn't get a trainer to work with him and the spaniel association wouldn't take him as he was deemed not re-homeable.
We took him in with the intention to train and re home him however we fell in love with him and decided our home was the right home.
He is no longer dog aggressive, doesn't resource guard and has become our sidekick. He is now following in Millie's pawsteps in helping to rehabilitate dogs.

Cheeky
Cheeky is a 4 year old Mixed Breed from Romania, he was surrendered to us just over a year ago.
Cheeky was extremely reactive to dogs and people. He had no obedience, would bark at every single noise in the house which was causing too many problems for his previous owner.
We took Cheeky in again with the intention to train and re-home him but he stole our hearts and we decided to keep him with us.
Cheeky is no longer reactive to dogs or people and has became a very obedient dog and has started working to help rehabilitate dogs.
Yoda
Yoda is a 4 year old Border Collie that was surrendered to us in January of this year.
Yoda is dog reactive and extremely people reactive to the point nobody could go into his previous owners home. He used to react to vehicles and was making life in general very stressful for him and his previous owner.
Yoda has double hip dysplasia, arthritis and an underbite. Due to his previous owner having to work 2 jobs to keep up with expenses she thought it only fair to re-home him as she couldn't give him the time he required.
Yoda spent the first year of his life in and out of the vets getting stitches due to his littermates attacking him and trying to get a diagnosis for his health issues.
Previous owner asked for us to take him in to which we said yes and he is no longer reactive to dogs vehicles or people and he is also starting to help in the rehabilitation of other dogs.

James & Kirstene
James - Head Trainer
James has been training dogs for 15+ years. He started training because of his first ever dog, a Boxer named Lilly who was wild. A local trainer that trained for Crufts told him she was un-trainable and to get rid of her. James wasn't going to give up on her so he decided to purchase many books on dog training and dog behaviour and got to work.
He made many mistakes along the way but Lilly became the perfect obedient dog. She sadly passed away at the age of 5 and having that emptiness he purchased a working Labrador. He trained the Lab himself and received many compliments and people asking for help with their dogs. This is where his passion for training began.
He started researching about different training methods and sat many courses (to which he soon found out were irrelevant) and learned off of some amazing dog trainers. He continues to learn as much as possible as he always wants to get the best out every dog.
Kirstene - Co Owner & Training Assistant
Kirstene has 6+ years experience. She runs the daycare side of the business which mainly has dogs that have been kicked out of other daycares and have trouble socialising.
Kirstene also assists with training sessions and she also takes care of the admin side of the business.
She has always had a passion for dogs and loves to do everything she can to help any dog in need.
Let's work together on changing yours and your dogs relationship
